Hey, Mike:

I think you summed up things pretty nicely. Train for all eventualities. Keith taught me a thing or two at the gathering about what I was missing on the ground, meaning I'm needing to catch up with some of those eventualities. But unless one can go to the ground with advantage, you don't want to be there, as you said. And I'd include battlefields under that category by default, myself....

yeah I wish i had done some wrastlin with you guys, probably just as well i didn't as i got sick up in Houston probably would have got alot of people sick if I had partaken , oh well next time.

That's odd, I got sick too. Some nasty sinus bug. (Now I know who to blame!)

On topic: I also agree about body type shaping ones natural abilities, but second the opinion that you should be able to fight in whatever way the circumstances dictate.

I think this applies to armed fighting as well.
