Revised Article and New Video on RMA and Military Combatives

Postby David_Knight » Tue Oct 21, 2008 9:31 pm

As part of a recent, long-awaited overhaul to http://PaulusHectorMair.com, I revised my 2005 article on Paulus Hector Mair and modern military combatives to include material from other Renaissance manuals, as well as earlier sources.

Check it out at http://blog.paulushectormair.com/2008/10/ars-gladiatoris-and-modern-military.html

I also streamlined the old gallery of images for that article into one stand-alone video, inspired largely by the ARMA web documentary series. The video is featured in the aforementioned article but can be accessed directly at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHldHRSi-jo

Great stuff David, thanks for sharing! Your updates and video presentation are quite timely indeed, as we had recently scheduled a long overdue 'Ringen' session for this coming weekend! I now find myself even more eager and motivated to attend this class than I already was!

Thanks again!
