Free Heraldry Lecture in Utah by Romilly Squire

Postby Allen Johnson » Thu Jun 09, 2005 2:33 am

On Thursday, June 9th from 7:30-9:00 pm in the 'Utah Room' at Thanksgiving Point, Romilly Squire will be giving a free lecture on Heraldry. His credentials and info are here: http://www.heraldic-arts.com/Artists/Squire.htm

This is being done in conjunction with the 2005 Utah Scottish Festival & Highland Games which will have the opening ceremonies Friday afternoon and the bulk of the festival this Saturday. I plan on attending this lecture and will be manning my Clans booth (Clan Grant) friday and saturday. The festival itself on Saturday is $5.00 I think but it's well worth it. Though they have tons of SLO's forsale there is the occasional Hanwei Practical or a semi-decent MRl or two fro sale. There was even a few Cold Steel products last year that went fast. There are also many books for sale. They usually have most of the Chivalry Bookself selections as well as several from Paladin. There is also a general used and rare book seller thats there every year that I have found several gems at at past festivals. Come and join the fun! General info about the festival here: http://www.utahscots.org/home.html
