Szabolcs' photos are indeed excellent.

Here is what Vienna quoted me, as an obviously rich American, to acquire mere permissions for publication:

If you already do have digital images we'll only grant permission for usage:

in "Opus Amplissimum de Arte Athletica": up to 3.000 copies, full page-illustration: Euro 60,- per image.
For cover-usage there is a surcharge of +200%.

up to 3.000 copies, 1/4-page illustration: Euro 35,- + 200% cover-surcharge up to 3.000 copies, 1/2-page illustration: Euro 40,- + 200% cover-surcharge

Homepage-fees are as follows:

Up to 1 month: Euro 40,- / Up to 3 months: Euro 50,-
Up to 6 months: Euro 70,- / Up to 1 year: Euro 100,-
Upt o 3 years: Euro 150,- / Up to 5 years: Eruo 200,-

To have color images taken was something like 100 EU / plate. Mair's Vienna manual is upwards of 1200 pages. Do the math.

Holy crap. Yet another reason for me to become incredibly wealthy. (other than of course to buy 2 of everything from albion, and a castle to house them in)

At the current exchange rate, and assuming exactly 1,200 plates in Mair, it would cost $140,614.80 USD for the entire manual. I think it would probably be cheaper to buy an original edition of Mair. <img src="/forum/images/icons/shocked.gif" alt="" />
