New and looking for a study group

Postby JohnGallego » Sun Oct 26, 2003 5:39 pm

Hello everyone!

I've been lurking about this site as well as AEMMA's site trying to get as acquainted as possible with both the history of medieval and renaissance martial arts, as well as treatises and techniques referenced here at ARMA as well as through other resources on the web and on print.

I think I want to take the next step and join a study group or class but I don't know where to start.

I'm located in Jersey CIty, NJ, U.S.A and would appreciate any advice, help, direction you can offer me.

Kind regards,
John.

Hi,

We have two active Study Groups in NJ. We'll have them contact you. Meanwhile you can read through the About ARMA and the Membership pages, as well as perusing the associated sections on our approach and method.
If you have any questions just ask. Much of the site is geared toward assisting novices become involved in our mutual discovery and exploration of this exciting subject.

There are ARMA groups in Knoxville and just south of Nashville (in Murfreesboro). It a few hours to drive, but not a million. Contact me at norwood@theriddleofsteel.net if you're interested.
