Rapier Duels

For my western Civ class, we have to do a project on the Rennaissance. Naturally, I decided on rapier duels. does anyone have info on the actuall duel structure? (though not exactly pretaining to skills, I think it has relavence.)

Good article. Never saw that one before. I noticed that the report spoke on multiple occassions of being "nailed to the ground".....

I would assume from those action reports then that the duels involved significant ground fighting once they closed since to be nailed to the ground you kinda would have to be like a bug on the board, so to speak. Was this often the case with rapier duels from other reports as well?
