Bill is doing pretty good. He is the one that made my great helm and has made a few other parts.

I really want to get us all in padded jacks, and then start with getting everyone in to:

Elbows cups with a spade.

Then:

Jack-chains.

Breast plate.

Gauntlets like in the above picture, but with a better thumb.

A bevor.

A sallet

Maybe then start thinking about something for the legs, but we fight high and don't really get a lot of leg shots.

The goal I think should be to start with easier or cheaper parts first, and phase out our modern equipment as we go... fighting in jack-chains and hockey gloves for instance. I would really like a kit that could be homemade as much as possible, and as cheap as possible where not, while keeping us as safe as we can as we go along.
