Oh, wow! If you're in the DC area you should drop by and practice with ARMA DC sometime. I just moved out of the area but I used to be the study group leader there and I'm sure they'd be glad to have you. If you're interested, send me a PM and I'll put you in touch with the current group leader, Jay Brant (in case you don't see this Jay :) ). This way you'll at least be able to get started before you head back to school.

You could hitch a ride with any of the DC folks who might be coming out to the 1.0 in Abingdon, VA in November. I'll be making an announcement regarding plans for it in the next couple of weeks. I'm not going to make the fee any more than $100, but I'm gonna try to beat it back lower. I also will have limited floor space available at my house. I may limit that to poor college students. :wink:

Go train as much as you can with the DC group before then though.

Thanks for the offer! The only thing preventing me from working with the D.C. group is the fact that we're still moving in and my help is needed around the house most of the time. I'll be back home on holidays and breaks though, and hopefully things will be more settled.

As for the 1.0 in Abingdon, attending that depends on my school's thanksgiving break schedule. Hopefully it will all work out.

Oh, I guess I got confused as to where you were really out of right now.

The Abingdon 1.0 will not overlap with Thanksgiving holidays (at least I hope not :( ) because some of the likely participants are students at a nearby college who approached me a few months ago about studying some sort of sword art.

As of right now, I'm in D.C. with my family. In a week, I'll be off to Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. I may be able to make it down, anyway.
