Hi Aaron! Good to see another Badger around!

Wisconsin doesn't have an official Study group, but there are afew of us spread out...I think we have all four corners of the state covered!

I live just outside of Wausau, there are two members (or at least very soon to be members...I'm not 100% sure on that) from Milwaukee, one from sort of the Lake Geniva area, and some interested folks from the La Crosse area. If we were all closer, we'd have an official study group for sure <img src="/forum/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Right now we're all training individually, getting to seminars in other parts of the States to the best of our ability (this is the best way to learn...once things slow down for me some, I'm going to again look into getting a seminar up here), and we have a tenative (weather permitting) first ever ARMA Wisconsin members group training day planned for the middle of June. For more info on this feel free to email me or send a private message to me via this forum.

You'll be able to learn much just by browsing the forum index, using the resources of the ARMA web pages, and asking lots of questions here on the forum.

As far as getting started goes: buy or make a waster ASAP. You can also easly get started by just using a wooden dowel until you get a better training tool. This is how many of us started. As always, ask questions, view/read the many videos/essays on the site...but most importantly, have fun!

Hope to see you posting here often!

Jared L. Cass, ARMA Associate, Wisconsin
