Interestingly, as I looked on the terms page (http://www.thearma.org/terms2.htm), posta di donna does have some characteristics of the LVT, though I think the donna is actually a bit higher WITHOUT resting the sword at all on the chest/shoulder.

Actually, I agree with you. For a long time the other members of the group I study with and I have been using the front weighted version as more of a lazy vom tag. However, since I personally do not know the textual references to it and I haven't found any explicit pictures, I am unsure of arguing it here. Thanks for showing me the terms page though. What is the source for what it describes as posta di donna sporano e altera/posta di donna la sinestra?
Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.
