medieval cloth leggings?

Postby William Savage » Sat Dec 10, 2005 2:48 pm

I was wondering if anyone knew A. what medieval pants/leggings were made of and B. if they sell them anywhere today.

Im planning on wearing leg armor and would rather not try to wear it over sweatpants, jeans, or bare legs.

i know its an odd question so any info would be helpfull.

Which century? If your talking hosen, then your looking at wool, with linen braies. Take a look at places like Historic Enterprises on the internet.

hope this helps.
