Discovery chanel going tribal

Hey Gents

Has anyone seen the episode in Somalia were they do the stick fighting between the two tribes in the Suri territory good stuff, very fast, very violent, and to them it is more of a game, reminds me alot of what we see in our staff manuals.

I did see that episode by chance. You took the words out of my mouth with your post. The tribes engaging in this stickfight were indeed going at it hard and fast and obviously people were injured.

The staves they used did not seem to be of hard wood, so I guess that avoided some really serious injury.

It was a good episode, although this is the only episode of this series I have ever watched.

I think I also saw that episode, or at least part of it.
One of the things I noticed was that the staves they used were pretty flexible, almost like bow staves...

Hey Jonathan

Yea they were about 12ft long and had quit abit of whip to them.

They also had one in Monogolia and showed some wrestling it was interesting to see the Mongolian wrestling.
