An interesting and informative article.,

John, at the bottom it states that this is from a "forthcoming book on the English Masters of Defence" by your good self...

Can you possibly give us an idea of what you DO have forthcoming on the book front (with a rough time scale), if this is not to rude a question?

On historical fencing I have three books in the final stages, and four more in the works. The various subjects cover spathology, training guides, and research studies. I am also editing or introducing some translated manuals as well. Some of these titles have publishers, others I have not offered to any one yet. Each will be out...when they are out, I'm not rushing or concerning myself with time frames, it easier to work that way. I expeect 1-2 or 3 this year though.
