barrior gaurd attacks?

I have read that the barrier gaurds are good for delivering strong attacks but it just seems vary aquard for me. What kind of attack is it, an unterhau, oberhau, middlehau?

The Krumphau, which is a form of oberhau (loosely), can be performed from the schrankhut, as can a number of thrusts and a few variations on the schiller and the plunge-strike (both oberhauen).

Basically, any variation on winding or unwinding your wrists (the opposite of whatever they are when you begin the strike).
