Fishing for Nutmeggers

Postby Martin_Grover » Sat May 23, 2009 12:18 am

Greetings!

I live in Central Ct and have been studying with German Longsword with Christian Tobler on an intermittent basis. I have been reading through he ARMA website and admire the Methodology and Credo.

Are there any others in my area interested in starting a study group? I do intend to continue study with Christian (He's a friend and his classes are free!), but I like the idea of a larger organization with more study resources to draw upon.
Yours,

Martin Grover

Is there nobody in my area interested in getting something going? Is there nobody willing to at least start the discussion?

Did I say something to offend?

Do I smell bad?

*sniff* I smell ok.

Hrm
Yours,

Martin Grover

No, you have not offended anyone. To the best of my knowledge there are no ARMA members in your area. I think the close ARMA members will be in New York City.

Now about that smell..... :D

as I suggested to another Martin, if no one responds or you cannot find anyone close by with the finder tool somewhere here on the site, then if you are willing to work at it, try to found a club at a college or university, or perhaps a city recreation center; eventually people with similar interest will find you waving a sword about.
meanwhile, do not give up hope to get to an ARMA event so you will have a better grasp on things we do, all the time going through various training tips posted on the site and found in many many threads here.
I do truly wish you the best hunting and endurance to persevere in your effort to grow in the Art,
Keith, SA
