Looking for partners

Does anyone know of any members in eastern Idaho? We have the SCA but after reading there rules of combat i have decided not to join them, no realism to it. No grabbing No striking, No throws, No using other portions of the weapon other than the fake blade and no using the shield as a weapon, COME ON! I'm a cop and i teach all use of force:Ground fighting, Baton, Impact weapons Pepper spray, Arrest techniques, Pressure Point Control. If you want a officer to survive you got to train with pain. you guys look like you train as realistic as possible. Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like the practice partners page has anyone in Idaho, but that page isn't always up to date so keep checking.

Hopefully someone else will be able to redirect you to people in your area, but it seems like you have a good grasp of the serious nature of combat so if all else fails you can grab your friends and start your own group!

Translations of the period literature for our art is available online in various places, and there are numerous publications and essays by ARMA you can read up while you're searching for training partners.

I found a guy from Britan who looks to be on the right path. Met him last night, and he looks to be what I'm looking for. Thanks for the help he said he is trying to get the WMA up and running in boise.[/code]
