New Museum open in Wisconsin

Postby ScottHanson » Mon Jul 18, 2011 11:40 am

Not sure if this is the appropriate forum to put this in; if not, apologies in advance.

A new Arms and Armor dedicated museum has just opened in Alma, WI. It's about 4 hrs from Appleton and 2 hrs from the Twin Cities.

Here is the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Castlero ... 6078971618

Here is the webpage (hasn't been updated recently, but supposed to update soon): http://www.castlerockmuseum.com/newsite/museum.php

The collection is relatively small, but does include over a hundred polearms, a couple dozen swords, and some very unique pieces such as one of Henry VIII's gunshields.

I have some pictures I can send to interested parties, please PM me if you'd like them.
