Confirmation the remains of Richard III discovered!

Postby John Farthing » Mon Feb 04, 2013 10:48 am

Today the official announcement was made confirming that the skeletal remains of Richard III were recently excavated after being discovered beneath a car park in Leicester. This is an incredibly significant find both historically, and martially! The remains exhibited trauma which was clearly inflicted by edged weapons, this can be hugely informative about the weapons of the time, how they were used, and what they were capable of!

In the following article, Royal Amouries curator Robert Woosnam-Savage helps determine the weapons that caused skeletal injuries to Richard III. Also make best guess at sequence of event for his last minutes alive.
