Hi all,
I'd love to learn how to fight properly with a sword, but could really use some help on getting started.
My problems are that I'm pretty weak physically and have no access to gyms or trainers, as I travel constantly, and gyms aren't a big thing in my country (China). Finding sparring partners is not an easy task as well.
Luckily I will be going to London in a few months and stay there for a while, so hopefully will be able to take some good classes. My question is then--what should I do to best prepare myself for the teaching there? It seems that I need to build on some strength first, but what are my options? Regular cardio exercise, or learn some basic boxing techniques and hit the punching bag (if I can keep one) as hard as I can?
I hope this is the right place to post my questions. Without any workout experience (besides some yoga stuff) I really have no idea what is best for me at this moment.
