looking for a battlefield woth 1700 source

Postby Guest » Sun May 11, 2003 9:40 am

Hello guys,
it seems to me that many of the avaliable sources for sabre-backsword-sheering sword of the 1700 are for the "gentlemen's matter", I mean that techniques are good but strategy is duelling oriented and rough stuff is kept out.
The good old Mc Bane is an exception, but I'd like to find other exceptions...
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Carlo

Thanks,
of Hope I've the new method only.I appreciated Hope style sparring with Ralf of the Lineacre school of defence, he runned me through nicely <img src="/forum/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" /> , yea I managed some nice cuts on him, one not so nice between the legs (the cruel italian cut Hutton refused), yet the bout was to be given to him.
Carlo
