Welcome to the first (and perhaps only) English translation of Talhoffer's 1467 fechtbuch available online. This is a side-by-side edition, with the original text on the left and the corresponding translation on the right.

Phase One of HACA's Talhoffer Project is complete. Now, we are scanning the individual plates that accompany each caption. When Phase Two is complete, you will be able to access the images, the original text, and the English translation of the 1467 fechtbuch.
