Stances Meisterhauen In addition, only strike for a reason, maintain initiative, don't try to devise your own system - use Liechtenauer's or another fechtmeister's whose life depended on fighting well and do not copy what you see in movies or perform extraneous flashy movements (i.e. no twirls or squatting).
