A general comment: Absolutely every waster maker of whom I am aware seems to have some sort of bizarre problem in one or more areas:
1) design
2) toughness
3) delivery of product.
Some are worse than others. Some can do one or two quite well. Some can do none well. I just do not understand why there are sword-makers who can cover all these three areas fairly well for sale of their steel swords, but NOT one waster-maker ever seems to get his act together to do the same regarding wooden swords.
Sorry about that rant, but I find this issue a continued annoyance to practitioners in general. I have witnessed all of these problems in some way personally, and have read of such repeatedly from others.
