Question about locations?

Postby Trei_Feske » Wed Jan 26, 2005 3:46 pm

I live in North West Texas, and I'm very interested in joining. I have yet to see any HACA or ARMA classes out in my area. Although I would love to open up a class on this, but I am just a college student. I am working on a doctrines in Medeival history, and computer science. If any one can give me advice on where to start it would be most appreciated.

Thank you

Hi Trei,

There's a lot of information on the main site that can get you started on your own. I also recommend getting to a workshop since it's the most effective way to learn. Being around experienced members and instructors is obviously a huge benefit. It's not always easy to get started but if your determined it will eventually come together. Since your attending school it might be helpful to see if there's others who have the same interest and get them involved. By working with others you will often make better progress.

Hopefully someone nearby will respond.

Good luck!
Gary

Trei

I am glad to hear of your interest in these arts. The best way to get start is to train with other ARMA members if at all possible. I would suggest that you contact ARMA member Scott Adair who lives in Lubbock, Texas, about possibily meeting sometime in the near future. Also, don't over look reading everything on the ARMA site and asking lots of questions here on the ARMA forum.

Good luck,
Ran Pleasant
