Just a quick question:
RE: I.33 class-- swords of this era were about 30-35", correct?

Tough to generalize, but from what I've seen, I'd say 34" to 41" for single hand swords of that era.

Thanks. Just for travel details, do we know exactly what hour the event will kick off and end each day?

I assume exactly where on campus will be forthcoming?

While not the largest university on the planet, there are still a lot of buildings. <img src="/forum/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" />

Hi all,

Sorry this is so late, I have been trying to update the webpage all afternoon to no effect, I cannot currently login due to a problem with the host server not accepting passwords at this time . . . .

Therefore, here is pertant info for the event.

The Lecture with John Clements is in 3223 of the Wilkinson Center at BYU. There should be people in this room at 9 a.m. Mountain Standard Time. The rest of the event will follow the basic schedule on the web page, morning and afternoon. Part of the event may be held on the grassy area next to the Wilkonson center, but it may also be at the field listed below. Further details will be announced at the event.

These are the directions to the Field not by the Wilkonson Center that we may also use.

From I-15 or State Street, head on to University Avenue and turn east
onto 1650 North (also called "University Parkway"). Keep driving past
the stadium and a road called 450 East. There will be a parking lot
on you right. Get into it and drive to the eastern most portion (in
front of a long all-glass building). Park there. NOTE: this assumes
you already have a temporary parking pass.

Directions to the Wilkinson Center

For Indoor practice and Saturday

Same as above, except turn south on 450 East. Turn right at the frist
intersection and just as you pass underneath a footbridge, you will
pass a booth on the right witha sign that says "visitor parking" turn
in here. NOTE: you might have to remove you parking pass to park here

Here is a mapquest link.

directions

Sorry for the delay with this, but we were hoping to get indoor sites from BYU at the last moment. Dress warm, it will be cool tommorow.

Brian Hunt.
