This may not be available to everyone but it was a fun idea so I thought I'd share it. We all know how much arms, shoulders, forearms, and even finger stregnth come into play when doing swordsmanship. The other day a friend took me rock climbing for the first time. What a workout! We were at simulated rock wall at a local fitness center and it didnt take long for my fingers and whole arms to be burning and strained. I really dislike doing the whole freeweight thing. So this may be a different but really fun thing to try and have some benifit come sword time <img src="/forum/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />
