Re-Hilting

ok Lady's and Gent's

I cracked the hilt while floiryishing with my Towton, So I read John's article in the member's area on re-hilting sound's easy enough and I am now going to attempt to make a new hilt, any more advice or thing's I should know before I start?

I did the J-B weld on the gaurd and pommel to tighten it up and put a spacer in to keep it all in place while i let it dry.

I'll do the wood for the handle in a day or two.
