Congratulation Allen!

Having a unique custom blade specially made for you is probably the happiest thing for a swordsman, it doesn't look like that it would cost little, how much did you spent on it?

Yeah its not cheap Theres also alot of waiting involved (understandably so since the high end makers like these are in demand and usually have a year to two year waiting list!). This baby is just shy of $1,000 USD. I still plan on getting a period scabbard and baldric made for it and that will probably add on about another $400 or so. So yeah its expensive but this will be something I will pass on to my kids. It's also my absolute favorite sword type and hilt design. So you gotta have at least one really good replica of your favorite, right?

Wow Allen,

$1000 dollars and a 400 dollars scabbard - this is not cheap definitely. From this price I can get two decent custom swords from already, your's one is a true family sword - and also plus the two years of waiting!

I can tell that the hilt is not an easy task... again congradulate you for this newborn heirloom!

Regards,
