Hello all,

members of the group "Ochs- historische Kampfkünste" put an complete transcription of one manual from Hannsen Lecküchern at: http://www.pragmatische-schriftlichkeit.de/cgm582.html online.

Alexander Kiermayer and I also finished our new DVD about the use of the Langes Messer, we hope that you can buy the English version in spring 2006 and finally the English version of our new DVD about the Lichtenauer Longsword is ready and you can buy it at: http://www.chivalrybookshelf.com in some weeks.

Servus

Excellent, always good to see work on the langes messer.

On a related note I was watching a tv show last noght on the History of the english language and they showed a picture of the first Danish army to invade the Kingdom of Alfred in England and in the forefront of the picture was a man holding a long curved two handed blade similar to a Grosee Messer.
I will try to find the image.

I have seen Hans and Alex in action and am highly impressed by their work in this field. This should be a "must have" in my opinion.

Hello Hans and Other Scholars:

I really like that transcription and presentation of the Lecküchner which you and your fellows have done. I encourage anybody with at least some knowledge of German language to read the PDF. Thanks again!
