Groups In Central Florida / Orlando Area?

Postby Tim Hyde » Sun Jul 24, 2005 3:34 am

Hey again, I don't post much here but I lurk :P

Anyways, I posted before about groups in southern jersey, you guys kindly referred me to John Sheetz. He was a wonderful guy, and so was his practice group (Had a really good time the couple times I went)... But now I must unexpectedly make a move to Central Florida.

I'll be moving to DeLand, FL which I'm told is about 30-35 minutes from Orlando? I checked the practice groups page, but unfortunately I only see one group in FL, and that is in Southern part.

Are there any groups in central florida that are looking for more people, or are thinking of forming but don't have enough?

Thanks alot, If worse comes to worse I'll just buy "Sigmund Ringeck's Knightly Art of the Longsword", and "Codex Wallerstein : A Medieval Fighting Book from the
Fifteenth Century on the Longsword, Falchion, Dagger, and Wrestling" to practice by myself.

there is indeed a group trying to form in Orlando, Dave Parks one of our former members is in Orlando.
Shoot me an email @ bactria@bellsouth.net and I will get you in touch with him.

There is also a study group trying to form in the Tampa area.

We will also be holding the next Flrodia ARMA gathering in Orlando nov/dec.
