What are the most through sources for s&d? Also do we have any medieval sources for s&d? I Have John's book and Terry Brown's English Martial Arts, as well as some of the Ren manuals that have s&d, but want more.
Most sword and dagger manuals are going to come from the later cut and thrust plus the rapier manuals. Look at Cappo Ferro, Fabris, Alferi, Digrassi, etc.

Umm...Brian, S&D is going to naturally predate rapier: Marozzo, Mancilino, Altoni, Vigianni, Di Grassi, even the "rappier" of Mair and Meyer, etc., plus Silver and others.

agreed. I meant later than medieval sources and the older sources like the I.33, Fiore, Lichtenaurer, etc. Rereading my post I can see where it might have been confusing. Bad communication on my part. <img src="/forum/images/icons/frown.gif" alt="" />
