TN Mini Gathering Invitation

Postby Jake_Norwood » Sat Jul 30, 2005 12:06 pm

Several folks in the vicinity of TN are planning a get together, rather informal, at my new home in Clarksville, TN, just outside of Fort Campbell on
Aug 6-7
. Crash space is available at my place.

Currenly we're expecting both ARMA TN groups, members of the ARMA from Ohio and Alabama, and any other ARMA members that wish to attend. Non ARMA members may attend after contacting me personally by PM here or by phone at 801 372 7086. There will be a variety of informal classes and two days worth of training.

Due to the informality of it all there is no schedule yet...I'm waiting to see how many people bite.

I just got off the phone with Jake. He has just moved in, and still doesn't have his internet connection yet.

He sounds like he is pretty stoaked about getting to hang with ARMA people for a while instead of ARMY people.

He lives at:
1303 Chucker Dr
Clarksville TN, 37042

We will be meeting 10AM Sat and Sun for an informal get together. Bring food or lunch money.

If you need to, give him a call friday night after 5PM. If you don't have his number, PM me.

Jake,

Thank you VERY much for hosting this event. I and my family members who attended had a very good time. We learned much and the overall experience was exceptional!!!

It was good to see familiar as well as new faces, and to be able to match some with names seen on the forum.

For those of you who couldn't make it, you'll definately want to make it to the next one that Jake hosts!

Slainte Mhath!

What? Nobody else has anything to say...?

I've got one. Jeff Hansen kicked my out of practice butt all over the place on saturday (but I woulda had 'im on sunday). His work with CW is excellent as well, based on the impromptu class he gave. Thanks, Jeff.

Yeah Jake, you would definitely have had me on sunday, as I was so sore from being out of shape that I could barely roll out of bed in the morning. (or at least that would have been my excuse)
When are we doing it again?
