I know this is not a ARMA topic, but hopes of the best goes out to all in Hurricane Katarinas way from us here in sweden... May God be with you! Hope you all safe and well...

Oh, wait. I'm in Louisiana! Noooo...!

Everyone else in the South needs to be cautious too. This hurricane will spawn many tornados(which scare me more).

Well, I was lucky where I'm at. Didn't even drizzle.

So is there anyone in ARMA from NO or Mississippi that can report their status? Hopefully Jeanry evacuated before it hit.

I heard that over 100 people are dead in Mississippi, and more are expected. If there are members there I hope no one was affected by this.

Thanks. We have many colleagues and members in the Gulf Region we have not heard from, and my own in-laws lost their entire neighborhood and most of their town. Very sad. New Orleans was a great town filled with unique history. My wfe was also born and raised there.

To our guy down there...

We have some room here, and we have plenty of space out doors for setting up a tent or a camper. Not the best way to spend the next couple of months, but it is here if you need it.
