ARMA Downunder,(You have to protect your "Flanks")

Postby Grant Hall » Thu Sep 29, 2005 9:30 am

Thanks to everyone who has helped me with inquiries thus far.

Now, I am an eager young Martial Artist located in Australia with a few questions.

1) are there currently any ARMA Members active in Australia? If so where?

2) How do I go about starting up my own Study Group? Do we just grap swords and go swings? Or is there a slightly more tactful, Delicate version? or are these just questions that will solve themselves once I am a full fledged member with access to further information?

Please can any Aussie ARMArtists out there either reply to this message or send me a Private Message.

Thanks in advance.

Grant,

You may have already gone here:

http://www.thearma.org/wheretostart.htm

I highly recommend simply following all that, it can keep you busy for a while, and get you started. Hopefully all that shall give you even more knowledge of the ARMA method and help to keep fueling your enthusiasm for European martial arts.

If you already read all that stuff: Then enjoy your training!

And I wish you luck,
JLH

Thanks to everyone who's been such a help.

Starting anything new can be very daunting, however ARMA creates a vibe that trully makes you feel welcome.

Your pride in our heritage is evident, and your passion for WMA is outstanding, I trully hope that we can get ARMA up and running "Downunder" so others can share in the rewards of your excellent work.

Cheers, and thanks again.
