How does Krabi-Krabong compare to other fighting style...unarmed and with weapons? I heard their fighting style was supposed to be simple enough to be used affectively in the battles in the old days, and yet delivered a devistating blow that would take out the enemies instantly. They tested every move in the arenas where real people commonly and severelygot injured and death was also common. Also it was tested in the battles. They also created standards for the fighting art to prevent someone from modifying without proving how effective it would be. The theory is: if it works well why change it! This is why America has been reluctant for a long to even consider changing there fighter jets, the F-15 to someting else because it has worked so well and prove itself to be deadly, eventhough it was made in the 70's! This has prevented it from branching out into different fighting system like we see in Kung-fu and Karate.
