Then we cut some water-filled bottles. As usual, nobody had any trouble with those.
Then we cut some rolled up, soaked grass mats. Everyone was able to cut them quite easily, I think maybe that's what they use them for Tamishagiri, it's really easy to make a really impressive cut on these.
Then we cut some cardboard "carpet tubes." These are pretty challeging. The walls were about 1/4" thick and a sloppy cut will be stopped or deflected somewhat.
It was a great day and we learned a lot as usual.
