WMA in Japan?

Postby Topher D. Scofield » Fri Oct 28, 2005 8:40 am

Hello all.

I'm an avid WMA enthusiast currently living in Japan. I am curious if there is anyone else studying or interested in WMA in this area. I'm reasonably close to Tokyo (in Tochigi prefecture) and would love to meet up with someone to work out and train.

I don't live in Japan, so I can't answer your question but I can give you some advice because I had a similar problem. Try to find someone who practices Asian martial arts and is willing to cross-train. Sparring with dissimilar weapons does wonders for one's understanding of martial arts as a whole.
To learn from your mistakes is to find victory in defeat.
