ARMA in Maryland?

Postby Jay Voris » Sat Oct 29, 2005 5:39 pm

Hello.
This is my first post on the forums and I am wondering if there are any ARMA members in the Baltimore, Maryland area. I was thinking of joining as a junior member, but I would like to talk to an actual ARMA practitioner in person. I live in Howard County, about 45 minutes from DC and 15 minutes from the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Is there anyone who is in that area?

ARMA DC was recently organized, if memory serves. Couldn't say if they're actually meeting in the city or closer to you, though.

Hi Jay!

I'm glad to hear you're interested. I live in Greenbelt and practice with the ARMA DC group here. I'd be glad to talk to you and I can put you in touch with Hugh Long, ARMA DC's study group leader. Feel free to email me (ashmund@umd.edu) or send me a PM.

Don't be shy about visiting us in Virginia Beach either. Hugh Long, the Study Group Leader from the DC group comes down every once and a while for more advanced study too.
