Hello shane
I agree with you there that being said I think it is the "right"; approach for what we do. At the end you need a certain level of certainty for the system to work.
I took the one manual approach, but even in Ringeck itself there is what seems to be contradictions and repetitions. I made the assumption that ringeck was a complete stand-alone fighting system and that he actually meant what he wrote (or had written) and that as long as you can do what is described there is no scribing mistake or thing out of place, which is a view that is not wildly shared. Personally I d not think it is not that intellectually dissimilar to what you are doing in Arma, the difference is where we look for the solution of a given problem but I believe that, in the main we encounter the same tactical problems.
At first when uncle Sigmund told us that the Zwerch breaks von tag but if you are in von tag and you do a Zwerch you will break the Zwerch. I was wondering what uncle Sigmund had been smoking.
But both statement as contradictory as they may seems are true.
Ultimately the Zorhn breaks the zwerch as the kron breaks the scheitel. So we can say that ultimately a Zornh will not work against the zwerch because the manual gives us a break against the break.
But non the less the zhorn has a potential to be troublesome. So even with a Zwerch delivered from the right distance at the right time, you can be counted by a zhorn. If you were out of distance/time, the Krump should beat the Zwerch as we end up in the guard of the ox. Since there is counters to that counter so you will win hence the breaking stands but the potential is here but you need a Zorhn of the same relative technical quality as the Zwerch.
And I thinks that’s why people will encounter problem with the zwerch and the zohrn.
better Zwerch than a zhorn = Zwerch wins
better zornh than Zwerch= Zorhn wins
about the same = Break and Break of the break according
because the strike break each other you do not need the relative difference of the technical contents of each strike to be massively different to have an advanatage.
I hope that made sense.
