surgeons

Postby Ray_McCullough » Sat Jan 21, 2006 4:27 pm

I was wondering if anyone knows how well cuts could be repaired. Good deep cuts ( a thigh or a bicep) that the victum didnt bleed to death from. How well could the muscles be sown together. I do relize if they did sow them back they wouldnt be as good as new maybe. How well could puncture wounds be from thrust and arrows be healed too while were discussing wounds?

i am not expert, but my opinion is that thurst wound is harder to treat, because it is often deeper and not so wide as cut wound.

and it is harder to know how serious it is, i suppose...

In the link below is a video called "cauterize", and "longbow"

cauterizing the wound does it cause the wound to close up together or does it just stop the bleeding? Would they have sown any of the wound closed?

I enjoyed those videos. thanks
