Does anyone have a suggestion...?

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to make a wooden poleaxe or already has a wooden poleaxe? if so, please post the pictures or just tell me.

There are some decent rubber heads available that the Sca uses.

I had some hard leather ones made that worked well.

The Guelph 83 treatise of c. 1590 appears to show practice with ones that might be solid wood.
