The combined study groups of ARMA Houston, Texas are proud to announce that registration for the 2007 ARMA International Gathering in our fair city is now open! The event will be held August 17-19, 2007 at the Humble Civic Center near Bush Intercontinental Airport just north of Houston, where we held the Lone Star Schwertlager last August. We got the big ballroom this time, so the Texas heat will not be a problem. There will be three full days of training, sparring, Prize Playings and comradery with instructors from around ARMA as well as Schola Gladiatoria and Ochs. For full details and registration information go to the official event web page here:

http://www.armanorthhouston.org/international-event-2007.htm

We encourage you to register early and we look forward to welcoming all of y'all down here for some genuine Texas hospitality. Event details will be updated from time to time as the event gets closer, so check back if you're planning to come and let us know if you have any questions.

Although this is our Member's (& invited guests') event, on Saturday, the full day will be Open to the Public and will include a range of activities for non-members who register to attend that day.

Also, we will still be adding guests & vendors for the event over the next year.

is the format that you would pick A OR B in that time slot?
Also where you see 2 of one class at a different time, is it the same class or a continuation?

So far only John's public NTP 1.0 class is scheduled to continue across multiple sessions. Other classes are repeated because yes, there will be two classes going on simultaneously to reduce class sizes for each instructor, and we want everbody to have the opportunity to take the classes they want if at all possible. I expect we'll wind up tweaking the schedule a bit before it's all said and done, but we put a lot of thought into this to try to make it work.

Is this joke in reference to a dubious and dastardly steal a dagger and stab the owner scenario?

If so I am simultaneously disgusted and jealous. :-)

I plan on being at the event early and leaving it late.

Peace,

Tim

Not to worry Matt, I (being a northerner from Wisconsin, a notoriously cold environ), was able to survive it last year. Of course the huge air conditioned building we practiced in had nothing to do with it at all. -?-
