sparring partner needed in Pensilvania

Postby Pavel Levchuk » Tue Apr 18, 2006 2:52 pm

I am a beginner in European Martial Arts. I am not looking for a weekend hobby but a true challenge of both mind and body, that is connected to my heritage. I am trying to find partners with the same kind of passion. <img src="/forum/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

Appleton is in Wisconsin, which is about a thousand kilometers west of where you are.

The ARMA-Appleton group is really great and arranged for an awesome seminar there last October. There is a thread on this forum where they also show some new style wasters that are especially durable.

If moving is not an option, you can follow this link http://www.frappr.com/arma
and see that on the map, there are also a number of ARMA folk near the East Coast. Otherwise there are articles on the ARMA site about going it alone and training solo with a pell.

I'd invite you out to Jersey, but that's maybe 200-300 Km from Pittsburgh. My training group hopes to travel sometime this summer, so we may breeze through.
I would rather create than destroy.

There's a WMA (No official ARMA presence though) event coming up May 21-22 in Andover (maybe 100 miles north of you). Might be worth checking out just to network a bit and see if there are any people there more local to you in Pittsburgh.
