Yup, right here in the Cuse....I'm a big time newbie though. I've been lurking about and now that schools out (I'm a teacher not a student), I'm interested to see if there is anyone else. I'm looking for a "different" way to get in shape.

Isn't Ray Brunk's group within reasonable driving distance of Syracuse? Not that I know the layout of upstate New York that well...

I think I remember the name from a while ago, but I don't know. I think he's a little further east near Albany. Not sure though.

There is a former member of our Columbus study group in the Syracuse NY area who is looking to start training again. She is apparently unimpressed with SCA fighting, which is all that is available there.

Yea, they're not too far off I beleive. I haven't heard from Ray in a while. I know he had some surgery a while back so I hope that hasn't put his training on hold for too long. I've been wanting to hook up with those guys but it's a 4 hour ride for me.

I'm occasionally in Syracuse, myself, and probably will be at least once more this summer, perhaps for several days.

Syracuse is about 3 hours west of us.

Haven't been around much lately. 2 knee surgeries has slowed me down to a crawl. Recently picked up my sword again and hope to be back in full swing one day soon.

Football season is just about over. One more game and I'll be back in the gym working out. I'm just going to send out the flyer one more time. Hopefully Natalie will see this because I cannot seem to find her email anywhere. I'll have to re-check my old mail.

I'm located just off SU's campus myself. I'm going to be shooting for a distinction in history next semester, hopefully with a study of the true two-hand sword, but I gotta get the subject accepted first!

I just learned of this organization but am interested in learning more. I'm located in Ithaca, just a short ride from Syracuse. I'd be willing to drive up to Syracuse if there's a group there to give ARMA a try.

Sent out PMs to some and need to reestablish contact with others. Very busy end of summer and fall for me and I apologize for that. Please get in touch with me so we could possibly get this moving. I am presently nursing a strained groin, so I'm softer than usual but eager to start. Please PM me or if you have it, email me.

Okay, okay, very busy lately and now snow! Got a PM a week ago that might start moving things in the directions of an ARMA CNY. Anyone else?

Jaron, you sent me an email a while back for beginners, could you resend it to me? I think you still have my email. Thanks

Hi John,

I heard from another person in Syracuse who is interested. I am trying to find an indoor location to practice until the weather breaks. I am looking into the facilities at SUNY Oswego since I work there part time.

Once the weather breaks we can meet outside. Let me know if you here from anyone elsein teh CNY are that is interested.
