"perfect length" for a grossmesser?

Does anyone know if any of the masters gave a "perfect length" for a grossmesser as they have for other weapons? :?:

I am not sure Jaron, but the ones we have were patterened off of the Albion model...which has an overall length of 29.5. I am sure Peter Johnsson has some refrence for why that length.

Thanks. I am having a messer waster made, but didn't just want to make up a number when there might be historic correct measure like some masters give for staffs and other swords.
