Looking for Florida group?

Postby Anonymous » Tue Sep 26, 2006 7:27 am

Hey all, I am interested in ARMA and just curious if there was any groups in the Tampa area. Even Orlando if I must. I am interested in the free play aspect of ARMA. Not that I know anything yet, but thats basically what I am looking for. I've looked at Kendo, but it just seems like bashing each other on teh head with a stick.

Oh, I meant, you should write them and ask. They did hold a workshop in Orlando this past May. I don't know why, but it would seem like something to do if there are interested folks in that area. At least ask them where and why they held that workshop in Orlando. There's got to be some connection, no?

I'm also in that area, Lithia, just south of Lakeland and Plant City. I've got a couple of other guys interested. I'd appreciate any contact information for other students. Looks like the Central Florida Group may be comming on-line.

Well thats the hope. We are doing an event in Orlando Dec 2nd and 3rd all day Saturday and half day Sunday. We will be doing several classes on Longsword, Dagger, and a few other things and lots of sparring of course.
Jake Norwood may also be making a special appearance\ so be sure to make time for that in your schedule.

Well, I'm training with my Reserve Unit those days, so won't be able to attend. If anyone there is interested in getting something more permanent going, please let me know.
