Noticed that the Kentucky 1.0 made the list on the forum cover page. I can't tell you how excited I am to have a seminar so close. Not to mention that John Clements will be there. I can't wait for the details.

Hey, My name is andy, i am workin with Jake to set up this class. I, and my study group would be hosting the class i guess so i suppose i should post the details.

Like jake said, it is going to be held on the 3rd of march.

We are trying for a two day event right now, the first day being the 1.0 class. The second day we are hoping to see if John would teach Rapier, and we are still waiting to work out details on that.

The price is going to be 45 for arma members and 50 for non-members.

The event will be held on Murray State Campus, in Murray Ky. It will be an indoor venue so weather will not be an issue.

Any update on this? I see on the Web there is an NPT 1.0 and 3.0 on March 3rd and 4th at Moorehead St. here in KY. I would definitely go.

My mistake, Murry not Moorehead. Thought I'd better add my name as well.

That's correct everybody. It will be 1.0 (longsword) and 3.0 (rapier) Saturday and Sunday March 3rd and 4th, both taught by ARMA Director John Clements.

Please continue to post your intent and to contact Andy about payment, etc.

See you there!

Just to clarify, is that $45 for both classes, or $45 for each class?

The time is fast approaching. If you are thinking about attending get in touch with me and we can work out car pooling (if possible) staying arrangements and other logistics.

Youth members?

Postby Denise Smith » Tue Jan 23, 2007 8:52 am

As you know our group in Tullahoma is mostly youth beginners doing longsword. Is this something we could attend on the longsword day? Can you tell us more about it? How advanced do we need to be to attend... we are still pretty green.
Can you PM me more info?
If not for youth would Jake be interested in coming down some time to work with us? Our planning session for the upcoming year is this Sunday. It would be nice to pencil in special training events.
Spring Break is 10-25 March for our youth.
Chivalry vor allem.

I don't think there are any restrictions on youth at this event. As far as i know it is for the beginner regardless of age.

We are pretty green here ourselves, but NPT 1.0 is the class for beginners so it is exactly what we need. I will PM you and we will see if we can work something out.
