Dreynschlag event in Vienna

Postby Matt Easton » Tue Feb 06, 2007 1:27 am

This weekend (3-4 February 2007) I had the honour of being one of the instructors at the excellent WMA event hosted by famous Austrian group 'Dreynschlag' in Vienna. The attendees ranged from intermediate level to very experienced, coming from all over Europe and even Australia, and there was a very nice and friendly atmosphere to the proceedings. The event itself was very well organised, the training venue and accomodation was good, and the Dreynschlag crew are outstanding hosts (special thanks to Harry, who helped me out when my flight plans didn't exactly go smoothly!). As others have already said, a particular highlight was getting to know people I have known mainly in the electronic universe up until now (like Jorg Bellinghausen), and the very useful Fiore-Liechtenauer comparison round-table.
Photos from the event and museum visit will be forthcoming on our gallery, and I'll announce it here when I get them online.

Matt
