Great shots. I see a lot of nylon wasters. So, are they now available for the general public (me) to purchase? I've been lusting for one and my b-day is right around the corner.

I really like the virtues of these. The plastics are best for free play in my opinion, I prefer them to anything I've use din that regard, including padded and federschwerter. They ar egreat for casual practice too and for instructing. But for energetic drills and exercises, steel or wood is superior in my opinion, as the solid contact just feels more confidant.

I also would definitely not advise combining wood and plastic, they perform too differently and don't mix well together in my opinion.

They will be sold by a vendor at the International Event if you can wait that long. Looks like an awesome Mexico City event. Glad to see the art in Mexico. Maybe some budding scholars of the Spanish masters in the works......
