So I'm not actually going to Chicago...

Postby Jake_Norwood » Thu May 01, 2003 10:22 pm

About 2 months ago I wrote that I was probably moving to Chicago. Weeeelllllll....that's the difference between "probably" and "maybe." As it turns out now for a number of reasons I'll be joining the US Army as an officer, probably starting in the Signal Core. I'll be going to basic in September or October. I have, therefore, a number of questions"
1) I know that a lot of ARMAteers are military. Todd Sullivan, Tim Sheetz, Casper Bradak's in the Reserves, etc. How many military guys are there in the ARMA? How easy is it to start a study group on a military installation?
2) This is slightly OT, so please reply to this by PM or better yet by email to arma@theriddleofsteel.net. What am I gonna have to do to really get ready for basic? I'd like some advice from sources I trust.

Thanks for your time.
